"Frogs and other amphibians in peril worldwide"
...Due to " developed" and poisoned wetlands, excessive ultraviolet rays from ozone layer leaks, and now an invading fungus, amphibians are fading worldwide.
Please help by observing the mating songs of local frogs. { Amount of singing heard on what date. How many separate types of calls do you hear? } Have you noticed an increase in dead amphibians or lack of population you had observed previously?

Silent Spring

England's songbirds are forgetting how to sing, according to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). A spokesman blamed the deteriorating trait on traffic noise that interferes with the birds' ability to hear each other. The number of some species, including finches, warblers and orioles, has declined drastically because the birds are no longer learning their mating calls. The RSPB said that instead of a melodious song, all that some birds could manage to emit was a tweet.
